I live on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien'keha:ka (Mohawk). This land gives me the peace, escape, and inspiration I need to craft my stories and poems. I will be forever thankful for these gifts. I vow to work toward a relationship with the land that acknowledges it as an equal partner and I encourage you to think deeply on the role the land plays in your life and our responsibility to better care for it in return.
